
2007 / 2008 ADMISSIONS GUIDELINES
SUPPLEMENTARY ADMISSION INTO THE NATIONAL DIPLOMA (EVENING) AND AND NATIONAL DIPLOMA (MORNING) PROGRAMMES
Prospective students are hereby informed that vacancies exist for supplementary admission into the National Diploma (Evening) and and National Diploma (Morning) programmes.
1. Eligibility: The following are eligible to apply:
i) Candidates who participated in the 2007/2008 Post-MPCE screening and scored not less than 100 marks but did not meet the cut-off for admission into their programme of first choice.
ii) Candidates who applied for supplementary admission (Morning).
iii) Candidates who applied for supplementary admission (Evening).
2. NATIONAL DIPLOMA (EVENING): The duration of the Evening Programme is now two (2No.) years. Available programmes are:
i) Architecture (AR)
ii) Building Technology(BT)
iii) Estate Managment (EM)
iv) Surveying and Geoin formatics (SUG)
v) Quantity Surveying (QS)
vi) Town and Regional Planning (TR)
vii) Food Technology (FT)
viii) Science Technology (ST)
ix) Agricultural Engineering
2.1 Admission Requirements: (See JAMB Brochure)
3. NATIONAL DIPLOMA (MORNING): The available programme is Mass Communication only.
3.1 Admission Requirements: Five credits in English Language, Mathematics, one Science Subject and two others from: History, Economics, Fine Art, Government, Literature in English, a Basic Science subject.
4 METHOD OF APPLICATION:
i) Candidates who have already applied for supplementary admission (Evening) or supplementary admission (Morning) in 2007/2008 need not reapply.
ii) Other eligible candidates are required to purchase scratch cards from either Sterling Bank plc, Douglas Road Owerri or First Inland Bank, Wetheral Road Owerri and register online at www.nekedepolyportal.com. The website will close on Friday, 7th December, 2007.
