MODE OF ADMISSION

Admission of students into the polytechnic for the higher national diploma (morning), the national diploma (evening) and promotional diploma will be direct entry based mainly on merit by ranking the qualification of candidates.

Candidate for the admission are required to possess the minimum entry requirement as stipulated by the polytechnic .The prospective candidate are therefore advised to ensure that t they meet both the general and the departmental requirement before applying for admission.

The HND (Morning) and ND (Evening) programme normally last two years and three years respectively. Student who successfully completes the national diploma programme will be required to have gained at least one year one relative post ND working experience in a recognized industry/establishment before they can apply for admission into HND programme.

The pre-ND programme is designed to last one academic year on successful completion, and subject to vacancies, student may be allowed to proceed to approved ND programmes.
